I visit schools, libraries, and literacy festivals across Canada, in person and virtually, for readings, Q & A sessions, and interactive author programs. Visits can be tailored to Black History Month, year-round equity programming, or curriculum units on Canadian history, identity, and biography.
Author readings: 30-45 minutes, single class or assembly format. Includes reading, Q&A, and signed books option.
Author workshop: 60-90 minutes, classroom groups. Includes reading, discussion, and a guided writing or reflection activity.
Black History Month programming: full-day or multi-day school residencies built around the books and broader themes of Black history in Canada.
Bilingual programming: sessions can be delivered in English or French through partnership with Black Legacy Collective
